Catering FAQs

Get started by selecting the store where you will pick up your catering order and select what type of platter, family meal or holiday meal or you would like to order from our Catering Homepage.

Orders must be placed by 2pm the prior day in order to have available pickup windows slots for the next day .

Customers can pick up a catering order during regular store hours. You will select a pickup time when placing your order. Store hours may vary and may be impacted during a holiday.

On your selected pickup date, visit the front registers and ask for Guest Services. The store team will verify your order and retrieve it for you. Catering orders are not currently eligible for curbside pickup.

Only credit card payments are accepted for pre-payment at catering.thefreshmarket.com. The Fresh Market Gift cards are not accepted online at this time. To pay with a The Fresh Market gift card you must place your order in the store and pay at the registers at the time of pickup.

At the time you place your order online, a method of payment is taken and a preauthorization is made on the card. Your final payment will be charged the day you pickup your product. The final amount charged may be different based on special requests, added items, replacement items or weight adjustments. You will receive a finalized receipt once your order is completed. Your card statement will reflect the final amount charged within 7-10 business days of your order being completed.

Orders may be amended or cancelled for a full refund with no additional fees up until 48-hours before the scheduled in-store pickup. If you do not cancel the order 48-hours in advance, and fail to pick up the order, you will be charged the full amount of the order. To amend or cancel your order, view your order within your order history.

Guests will receive their refund on the same payment method used to make the original purchase. Depending on bank or card issuer refund could take 5-7 business days to reflect.
